Important information about the level of contextualisation required for assessment
For our Civil Construction units, students will need to complete and/or be observed demonstrating specific skills in a civil construction environment. This, along with state and territory variations to legislation, regulations and codes of practice, as well as variations in resource access between RTOs, means it is not possible for us to provide plans and specs or to create specific case studies and projects within our assessments. RTOs will need to contextualise the assessments by providing projects and associated plans, specs and designs that match the projects that students will be required to complete. We provide a Simulation Pack for each unit, which provides guidance to assessors on ways in which they could approach specific unit requirements, but this does not provide projects, designs or plans and specs.
We strongly recommend reviewing a sample unit before purchasing.
