Following on from our popular webinar on assessment review, we’re now turning to the next critical step: validation.
Assessment validation is a mandatory, systematic and retrospective review of assessment tools and completed assessments to ensure they consistently meet training package requirements. It confirms that tools generate evidence that is valid, reliable, sufficient, current and authentic, and that assessor judgements are consistent, fair and defensible.
If assessment review is about getting it right before use, validation is about proving it works in practice.
