The furnishing industry strongly affirms that training and assessment leading to recognition of skills must be undertaken in a real or very closely simulated workplace environment and qualifications within the Furnishing Training Package requires that units of competency be delivered in this context.

We have developed Simulation Guides to support RTOs who are delivering courses to students who do not have the benefit of access to a workplace for the purposes of learning and assessment.
